It’s been nearly a week since the tornado has touched down south of Sundre, north of Bergen destroying several homes and causing extensive damages on July 7th. 

Over the weekend, Veronica Barkowski-Neil Embleton was able to capture the extensive damage on her family’s helicopter. 

Meteorologist with Environment and Climate Change Canada, Sara Hoffman says we can expect a classification of the tornado by the end of the week potentially. 

“They were doing an investigation and actually I was part of that team that went out to investigate. We have collected a lot of data. We are just combing through now to make sure that we’re making the most complete and sound rating that we can. At this time, we're not planning to issue the rating today, but we're hoping by the end of the week,” Hoffman.
