Youth in agriculture will be taking over the Calgary Stampede Grounds this weekend.

The annual 4-H on Parade kicks of on Friday, May 31 where 4-H clubs from around the Calgary region show off their horses, sheep, steers, welding and various other projects.

4-H on Parade is Western Canada's largest 4-H gathering, which has been running for over 60 years.

The fan favourite steer show starts at 2 pm on Saturday, followed by the Sale on Sunday where members will be auctioning off their charity sheep and steer.

 Proceeds from the auction will go towards organizations like STARS Air Ambulance, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Alberta Children's Hospital.
