Chestermere RCMP have laid charges in relation to a stolen vehicle.
RCMP recovered a Honda Civic in the Hawkmere area of Chestermere on January 27, 2019 which was revealed to have a stolen license plate from Calgary attached.
Investigation continued and revealed that the car had been stolen in Langdon four days prior. The investigation revealed a suspect who was arrested in Chestermere on February 1, 2019.
Mikhail Loskutov, a 26-year-old Calgary man, was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, three counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and two counts of failure to comply with a recognizance.
Loskutov was released on $500 cash bail with conditions. He will be appearing in Strathmore Provincial Court on February 19, 2019.
