Two people from Gleichen and Siksika Nation have been charged in relation to stolen property and firearms offenses after an investigation by Gleichen RCMP.

On October 3, Gleichen RCMP assisted with a well-being check at a residence on Siksika Nation, there police found a loaded firearm and stolen property.

The property included two holiday trailers, a motor home, and a tractor which were stolen from Calgary, Strathmore and Drumheller.

The approximate value of the items is $400,000.

Jayde Bullbear, 25, of Siksika Nation and Jennifer Daigle, 31, of Gleichen were charged with unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

The two will appear in Siksika Provincial Court on October 18.
