The Strathmore Motor Products Sports Centre is giving a chance to the public to have their name on the sports centre’s Wall of Fame program.

From February 23 to March 31 individuals, families, businesses can commit $250 to have their name put up on the Wall of Fame. There is a limited 100 spots for names on the wall for donors.

The campaign was started to help both fundraise for the centre and recognize those who helped contribute to the centre. Ty Tomasta, Communications Ambassador with the Town of Strathmore, “ This Wall of Fame is a program that recognizes who have been supportive and instrumental in making enhancements to the Strathmore Motor Products Sports Centre. All the money that is received through the Wall of Fame program will be going back to make the sports centre better.”

Tomasta said that the Wall of Fame will have about 100 donors. He explained that the names will forever be a part of the facility.

Tomasta said that people would want to donate because the facility will be a lasting facility. He said, “Not only do you get to give a monetary donation, which is of course appreciated, but your name is then literally a part of the Strathmore Motor Products Sports Centre.”

“We want to do our best to support that and make sure that the Strathmore Motor Products Sports Centre has everything it needs to operate on a full level,” he said.
