Agra Risk Wheatland Kings welcome Shane Fraser as Assistant Coach

The Agra Risk Wheatland Kings have named Shane Fraser as the club's new Assistant Coach.

Kings Head Coach Doug Raycroft took to Facebook to welcome Fraser to the team.

Head Coach Doug Raycroft took to Facebook to congratulate Fraser on his new position with the club.

Fraser says his main goal for the team this year is to make the playoffs.

"Talking to Doug, he's confident we've got a team that can get in and has a chance at bringing a championship back to Strathmore. So, I think that's kind of our main goal heading into the season this year.

Fraser says accepting the position gave him a good opportunity to get back into the game of hockey, "I know Doug the head coach really well. He coached me when I was playing here in Strathmore. He kind of reached out and asked if I'd be interested in helping the team out."
