The Wheatland Braves, Warriors, and Chiefs had some great games over the weekend.

Wheatland Braves

The Braves held a well fought game on Sunday against the Lethbridge Hurricanes White. Conner Radke scored the first point of the match in the first period. The second period held the Braves second point from Pheonix Flett assisted by Conner Radke and Tori Evans. The third period had three more points, scored by Brock Keer, Kyle McDonough, and Luc Trevors respectively.

Wheatland Warriors

The Warriors had an amazing game against the Taber Golden Suns on Sunday, with the Warriors taking the victory for this game. The first period had two points scored, one half way through the period and one with only five minutes left. The second period had two points scored early on, while the third point was earned near the end of the period. The third period is where the Warriors drove home their win with six points scored all throughout the period, resulting in their 11-0 victory.

Wheatland Chiefs

The Chiefs faced off against the Foothills Bisons on Saturday's game, taking the victory against the Bisons. The first period started off slow, with the Chiefs pulling their first point of the game early on. The second period started to pick up halfway through the period when the Chiefs earned their next three points, with the first two from shootouts and the third point being earned on a power play. The third period had the Chiefs push their win until the end, with four more points being earned, ending the game 9-0 for the Chiefs.

The Braves will be playing this Friday in Medicine Hat, the Warriors will be playing on this Friday as well in Hussar, while the Chiefs are playing this Saturday in Strathmore at 4:45 p.m.
