The Strathmore Municipal Library is bringing the spooky season to the summer with its Halloween in July program.

On Friday the library is inviting all residents to dress up in their Halloween costumes and enjoy an afternoon of theatre games, live performances, and eerie storytelling.

The event is free to attend and open for all ages. Although the initiative is a part of the library's Summer Reading program, you do not need to be registered to the program to attend the event.

Halloween in July begins at 1 p.m. and runs until 2:30 p.m. The library added that children 8-years-old and younger must be accompanied by an adult or an older sibling.

You can learn more about the Summer Reading Program and other events that the library is hosting on the library's website.
