Did you know that Strathmore has a Pickle Ball Court? The Town of Strathmore operates two outdoor tennis courts on Brent Boulevard, and on those courts are the playing surface of a Pickle Ball court.

Invented as a backyard children’s game, Pickle Ball is similar to tennis and badminton. It is played on a tennis court with a pattern similar to a doubles badminton court, in games with two or four players.

Participants use hard rackets to hit a ball over a net.

The courts can be used from May to October with nets setup prior to the start of the season.

Tennis courts are fenced and locked during the off-season to prevent and reduce vandalism.

Players are limited to 30 minutes of playing time if there are groups waiting to play.
