The first Seed & Feed trip is in the books!
Seed & Feed powered by JMR Mechanical will be taking place during the month of May and our first stop was just East of Strathmore.
The team went out to see Matt & Belinda Nielsen and the crew at Slopeside Land and Cattle just West of Standard.
The Neilsen's started the season off with a tractor fire thankfully that was handled very quickly with the help of their neighbours and the quick response time of the volunteer fire department.
"We seed just under 6000 acres and we've got canola, barley, wheat, hay, flax, peas and we're planting faba beans this year," explained Belinda.
Excited to try something new the crew was out in full force today and thankful for the lunch break provided by Mike's Bar and Grill in Strathmore.
