Our nation's 157th birthday is closing in and Strathmore is hosting a huge party at Kinsmen Park from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m on July 1.
The special day will start off at the Strathmore Fire Hall with a Pancake Breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Following the breakfast Kinsmen Park will have fun for the whole family:
- Bouncy Castles.
- Food Trucks.
- Main Street Market.
- Canoe Adventures.
- Kids Train.
- Balloon Animals.
- Magic Workshops. (11 a.m. - 12 p.m., then 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.)
- Acrylic Paint Classes by Wheatland Society of the Arts. (11 a.m. - 12 p.m./ 1 p.m. -2:30 p.m./ 3:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.)
- Fishing Derby.
- Cornhole Tournament.
- Potato Sack Races and Bike Parade by RE/MAX Key.
- Petting Zoo by Organic Abilities.
- Free Watermelon.

The Ampitheatre will also host performances during the day:
- Opening Ceremonies at 10 a.m.
- Expressions Dance at 11 a.m.
- World Drummers at noon.
- Magic Show by Ryan Pilling at 12:30 p.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. -2:30 p.m.
- Alex Hughes at 3 p.m.
- Drew Gregory at 5 p.m.

Currently, the Town of Strathmore and Wheatland County do not have fire bans.
