As we bid farewell to a hot and hazy summer, kids are heading back to school and it is time to store the camping gear and outdoor play toys.  One other big chore you might be taking on this long weekend is the Winter storage for your RV. Donna Bourassa from Jo Lyn RV rentals gives us a number of helpful tips to get things ready, "When store your RV make sure you take care of the water system first, drain the water tank and water heater and then hook the pump to the antifreeze and pump out the system and bypass the water tank and circulate the lines for the sewer.   Leaving and water in the lines may cause it to freeze and then the line can burst costing you a huge repair bill.  Avoid getting the antifreeze in the water heater.  After that, you can check the lug nuts and tire pressure and do preventative maintenance."  You will also want to remove your battery charging it around December and don't forget to take out all perishable food items.
