The 104.5 More Country team had their last Seed and Feed stop of the week at Slopeside Land and Cattle just West of Standard. Thanks in part to today's sponsor Strathmore Dodge and to Mikes Bar & Grill for providing lunch to our lucky crew.
Matt and Belinda Nielsen and their crew have started seeding the 5500 acers that they farm, and they are seeding wheat, barley, canola, peas and faba beans. As the Nielsen said, this year has been going pretty well. "So far, so good!"
When asked if they were doing anything different than they were last year Nielsen said, "Nope, not this year. It's kind of been a boring year."
