AHS announced additional waiting area at Alberta Children's Hospital

Alberta Health Services (AHS) is adding an additional waiting area to combat the rise in patients at the Alberta Children's Hospital (ACH).

The strain on the health care system comes as the number of children with respiratory illnesses grows. 

AHS announced that they will be adding an additional waiting area that will be operational by early December.  A heated trailer will be located beside the emergency department to provide additional sheltered waiting space when required.
