The Brooks Bombers came out hot and defeated the Moose Jaw Miller Express 13-4 on Wednesday night.

The club recorded their first win of the season at home.

Pitcher Jack Leary took the mound for the Bombers against Miller Express pitcher Matt Vasquez.

The Bombers controlled the game and capped off the night in the eighth inning with a grand slam by Will Bomersbach.

Leary went seven and a third innings before being relieved, only giving up four runs and striking out ten.

The Bombers will take on the Miller Express once again tonight before playing a home and home with the Okotoks Dawgs Friday and Saturday.
