A crash south of Strathmore on Highway 817 and Namaka Road, and the thick fog has made it difficult for drivers to see who are approaching the accident.

104.5 More Country received a call from a listener explaining they came upon the aftermath of an accident Friday morning (Aug 25) on Highway 817 and Namaka Road at approximately 8:45, due to the thick fog the emergency crews and collision were not visible until they were quite close. Because of this, the listener is urging everyone in the area to drive slowly, keep your lights on, and be aware that traffic is down to a single lane in that area.

Strathmore RCMP said no one was injured in the accident, and as of 10:30 a.m. the highway has been cleared.
