The new school in Strathmore is on track to be open for students to return September 4th.

Tara Linsley, project communications lead, says the upper portion of the facility is scheduled to be completed for students return, with the remainder of the facility being completed in the following 3-4 weeks.

There will be a new pathway and signal lights installed to access the facility, as well the bridge on George Freeman trail will be getting upgraded as improvements move forward.

Over the next few weeks, as construction continues and students return to school, speed reductions will remain in place until the project is complete.
