The Ag Grounds will be bringing back the ghosts, clowns and scares for their annual Fright Night.

Fright Night will be back on October 27-29 and will include activities for the entire family explained Meagan Miller Events Manager with the Strathmore Ag Society.

"We'll have one big house for a more scary haunted house, then the younger kids will have their own separate one as well, there will be also fireworks this year on Friday night."

In addition, Miller explained that on the grounds there will also be face painting, food trucks and a bar throughout the weekend.

This year Miller said the team is working on trying to include a sensory night on the 26th but that has not been set just yet.

"It will be geared towards people with sensory issues that may not be able to handle the flashing lights and all of the noises and amount of people around things like that."

Miller noted for anyone who wants to be part of the fun and volunteer to help on the grounds or get dressed up and be a part of the haunted house action there are volunteer opportunities available.

"We usually ask that they are 14 and older if they want to volunteer and for younger volunteers, we may need a parent to be involved as well,"

For those interested in volunteering they are asked to either reach out on the website strathmorestampede.com or call the office directly at 403-934-5811.

Fright Night is set for October 27-29 and tickets are on sale now at strathmorestampede.com.
