The Town of Strathmore presented a proposed fee schedule to the Wheatland Council members that outlined some significant numbers. The town proposed a five-year repayment plan to reach 70 percent of the facilities cost.  They plan to get the funds from new adult leagues and daytime programming. After that total is achieved, the facility plans to operate on a 30 percent subsidy from the town and the county.

The average adult can expect to pay $6.75 for a drop-in rate and $412.60 for an annual pass.  Fees to use the walking track only will be $2.00 per day and $150 for an annual pass.

Mark Pretzlaff, the recreation manager for the town of Strathmore, provides, "We look at our operating budget over a year and then we can reassess what the needs of the whole community will be."

Tracy Simpson, Director of Community and Protective Services, said, "There is not really an apples to apples comparison; we tried to look a communities that were similar in size and did not look at Calgary as a reference."

In 2019, the town plans to release a universal access card that will grant admission to all the towns recreational facilities.
