Chestermere RCMP’s investigation into the armed robbery that occurred earlier on March 5, 2022, continues.

On March 5, 2022, at approximately 8:50 a.m., Chestermere RCMP responded to a robbery at a pharmacy on Marina Drive in Chestermere.

Two suspects entered the business and approached a pharmacy staff member with a firearm and demanded prescription pharmaceuticals. The suspects fled before obtaining the items and before fleeing the store an altercation took place with staff, resulting in one staff member suffering minor physical injury. The suspects then fled the store on foot—direction of travel unknown.

Surveillance photos have been obtained of the suspects during the armed robbery. The suspects are further described as follows:

Suspect #1:

·       Female with a dark complexion

·       Approximately 5’2” tall

·       Approximately 130 lbs

·       Grey hoodie and pyjama pants

·       Carrying a black/yellow hand bag

 

Suspect #2:

·       Female with a dark complexion

·       Approximately 5’2” tall

·       Petite build

·       Brown eyes

·       Black hair

·       Wearing a sweater with Roxy written on it, a purple/pink cap and pyjama pants

 

If anyone sees these suspects, do not approach, as they are believed to be armed and dangerous—call 911. Chestermere RCMP are asking for the public's assistance for any information in relation to this incident or identifying those responsible.
