May's Classroom of the Month winners are..!

Classroom of the Month is almost wrapped for another year, but not just yet!  

For the month of May, the 104.5 More Country team will be taking their own field trip out to Carseland to visit the winning class. 

Mr. Nelson and his grade two class were pretty excited to hear that we were coming out to see them!  

Gerry Cool who nominated the class had this to say, "Mr. Nelson is fun and my granddaughter loves his math class she is 7, and he taught them to make ice cubes out of fruit juice! He also respects his students as individuals it is great to have a male role model on staff."

Mr. Nelson had taught grade 7 for the past seven years before making the move to Carseland to teach the grade 2 and 3 classes, he said he has loved the move, "The kids are so eager to learn and they have had a great year getting to be back together and interacting with each other again, and they are pretty excited right now with a pizza party soon and they are going to the Zoo next week!"
