Sacred Heart Academy have taken part in a special guest musical lesson that focuses strictly on the drum.  One World Drumming 

Tashina Mackenzie the music teacher said, "The children discover the different voices of the drum how they are made and tons and tons of musical skill. Music uniquely uses the brain in an overall encompassing way that provides a skill set that you can't get from anywhere else."

This program is an annual event that occurs every January.
