This afternoon the 104.5 More Country team visited the generational farm currently owned and operated by Wes Thiessen for the first seed and feed of the week delivery, powered by JMR Mechanical.
An anonymous nominator sent our team to the Thiessen farm with a pizza lunch from Mike's Bar and Grill that the hungry crew was more than happy to receive.
Wes is a fourth-generation farmer and intends to keep the business in his family. When we caught up with Wes he was all too happy that the seeding of his 2600 acres has been going smoothly.
“Nothing abnormally different has happened. we're going into good moisture, which is a blessing and hopefully, we get more rain. So that's the main thing for the start of the seeds.”
