Members of the Airdrie Crime Reduction Unit attended an address in Rocky View County to attempt an arrest of a male suspect wanted on over 40 outstanding arrest warrants.

When police entered the driveway of the rural property on foot to knock on the door of the residence, the male suspect drove a vehicle directly at one of the officers, who was required to jump out of the way.

The suspect then fled the area driving in a very dangerous manner.

A second male on the scene got into a black Honda CRV parked nearby and fled through the front yard and out the back of the property through farmers' fields, causing a lot of damage to neighbouring fences.  The vehicle became damaged and disabled and the male was taken into police custody.  It was determined that the Honda CRV was stolen.  The male was also wanted on a Canada Wide warrant for violating day parole conditions.

Sebastian Tait (27 yrs old) was apprehended on a Canada Wide Warrant for violating his parole. He remains in custody.

Kenneth Jacobs (39 yrs old) of Rocky View County is still wanted on outstanding warrants, as well as charges as a result of the incident on February 10.

If you have any information relating to the whereabouts of Kenneth Jacobs, please contact the RCMP.
