A teen was airlifted to a hospital in Calgary in critical condition following a highway crash in Brooks yesterday afternoon (March 4).
According to Brooks RCMP, a pick-up truck and a semi-tractor trailer collided at Highway 1 and 873 shortly after 2 p.m. on Monday.
"RCMP arrived on the scene and worked with EMS and fire to attend to the injured people on the scene," said Brooks RCMP.
The scene was closed from 2:48-3:38 to allow for emergency crews to work safely.
Three people received treatment at the Brooks Hospital for minor injuries and the fourth was flown via stars to Calgary for serious injuries.
The police investigation is still ongoing.
