The South Central Alberta Hockey Wheatland Chiefs have entered a three-game win streak following their home game victory against the Foothills Bisons on October 6.

The first period held a powerplay goal for the Chiefs by Max Kathol from Adam Kirkpatrick with less than two minutes left in the period.

The Chiefs kept their lead into the second period with two more goals scored back to back. The first was an unassisted goal by Austin Kuryk, and the second by Nolan Bailey from Kobe Gosling. The Bisons fought back and earned their first two goals of the game, one of them a powerplay goal, before the end of the period.

The two-point gain for the Bisons did not stop the Chiefs from earning another goal in the third period through an unassisted goal by Adam Kirkpatrick. This helped to ensure victory went to the Chiefs 4-2.

The Wheatland Chiefs have their next home game coming up on October 11 at the Strathmore Family Centre at 7:30 p.m. against the Medicine Hat Jasper Home Hounds.
