Strathmore's youngest entrepreneurs headed to Kinsmen Park today to sell items they had spent weeks crafting.

There were bracelets and face painting, along with crocheted stuffies.

Jen Chiasson, the program coordinator for the Strathmore Homeschool Explorers, said the kids have put a lot of time and work into making their items.

"Different families would be putting in different amounts of time depending on their project."

Chiasson said the kids have been excited to put this market on.

"They have been planning and working on their project for the last 12 weeks."

The Homeschool Explorers will be at the Kinsmen Park Pavillion today until 2, selling their items.

According to Chiasson, one of the ideas for the market was to help the kids think about a future career or job prospects.

"They've been working on this the past few months in hoping to grow their own business."
