If you're hoping to beat the lines for the upcoming Chestermere by-election you can vote in advance polling this weekend.

Polls are open from Saturday to Monday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Chestermere Recreation Centre Curling Rink.

Staff with the city say you have to provide identification confirming your name and address before receiving a ballot.

The by-election will run on June 24.
