Tim Horton's annual Smile Cookie campaign has just launched and will run from Today (April 29) to May 5.

For this year's campaign, Strathmore's three Tim Horton locations have partnered with Strathmore Family and Community Services (FCSS).

One hundred per cent of the proceeds from every Smile Cookie purchased will be used to offer flexible support to community members, including cultural events, the provision of basic needs such as food, emergency shelter, and transportation, and an ID clinic that helps to remove barriers to access and the acquisition of ID.

"We appreciate the opportunity to participate in the annual Smile Cookie Campaign. 100% of the proceeds will stay in the community, providing valuable support to community members," said Mark Pretzlaff, Director of Community and Protective Services.

Mayor Pat Fule added, "With the increasing affordability pressures experienced across the country, the Town is excited to partner with our local Tim Horton's through the Smile Cookie Campaign. The proceeds raised through this campaign will help alleviate some of our most vulnerable residents' pressures."

To encourage participation in this annual campaign, FCSS is hosting a 'Business Challenge,' promoting friendly competition between local businesses to purchase the highest number of cookies and challenge others to pay it forward.
