Roads in town are snowy and slick after the snowfall we experienced on the weekend.

As we plunge into hopefully the last snowfall of winter, drivers are being asked to take caution while on the roads.

Most Strathmore roads are covered in ice and snow.

The Trans-Canada between Calgary and Strathmore is clear of most snow, and ice but is experiencing blowing snow and some fog is still lingering.

The major routes in Calgary are still experiencing some snow and ice cover, routes like:

  • Deerfoot Trail
  • Stoney Trail
  • Macleod Trail
  • Glenmore Trail
  • Sarcee Trail

There is a high of -6 today (Feb 5) with a chance of more snow on the way. The fog patches should clear up by this afternoon and tonight there is a low of -10.
