If you are looking for a weekend activity, free skate Sundays will be ongoing at the Strathmore Family Center Arena.
In partnership with UFA Petroleum, there will be multiple free skate sessions on Sundays in the upcoming weeks.
Skate sessions will be open to everyone, but those under 18 must wear a helmet.
The arena will be open for free skating from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the following dates:
- February 4
- February 11
- February 25
- March 3
- March 10
- March 24
- March 31
- April 7
Since Kinsmen Lake, Strathmore Lake, and Lions Regional Outdoor Rink are currently unsafe for use, free skating provides citizens with an opportunity to skate locally instead of going to Chestermere Lake or elsewhere.
