Seed & Feed makes its second stop at Wildiron Farms

Seed & Feed powered by JMR Mechanical has its second stop under its belt.

The 104.5 More Country team took a trip to meet the hard-working crew at Wildiron Farms with a pizza lunch provided by Mike's Bar and Grill in Strathmore.

When we caught up with Jon Wheatley, he and his crew were hard at work seeding the 4300 acres. He, his family and their 4 pigs call home. 

Despite a lack of moisture that may be worrying some planting this spring. Jon has decided to focus on the silver linings that have come from this recent dry spell. 

“The drill always works a little better when it's dry, so nothing worse than a real wet Spring to get trapped. I'll take a dry spring over a wet spring, but hopefully, the rains comein June.”
