This Saturday (Jan 27), The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 10 Strathmore will be hosting a student awards presentation.

Prior to Remembrance Day each year, students in Grades 1–12 submit a poem, essay, or poster reflecting on their understanding of Remembrance.

During the presentation, 23 winners will be on hand to receive awards.

The Branch forwarded 10 first prize entries for the Alberta-Northwest Territories Provincial Command judging.

The community is invited to join the awards ceremony at 1 p.m. at the Strathmore Legion.
