On May 4 at approximately 3:45 p.m., Three Hills RCMP were notified that two men one armed with a firearm entered a women's house on the night of May 3rd. One man unlawfully entered the victim’s home and took her cell phone indicating he was there to kill her, she was able to convince them to not hurt her and they left the residence.  

45-year-old Chrys Tremblay from Red Deer, Tremblay was arrested on May 10 in Red Deer and has been charged with:

  • Conspiracy to commit murder
  • Forcible confinement
  • Being unlawfully at large in a dwelling house
  • Fail to comply with release order X 3
  • Uttering Threats against a person
  • Fail to comply with a probation order

Tremblay is currently on a Conditional Sentence Order (CSO) and he will be brought back to court to face the allegation of the CSO breach.

The second suspect is 31-year-old Chad Wickett also from Red Deer. Wickett has been charged with:

  • Conspiracy to commit murder
  • Weapons possession contrary to an order
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Using a firearm in the commission of an offence
  • Fail to comply with release order

Wickett’s whereabouts are unknown, and warrants have been issued for his arrest,Wickett is considered armed and dangerous, and RCMP stated if anyone sees Wickett they should not approach him and call 911 immediately.
