Amanda Ball's Grade 5 class at Westmount Elementary School is November's Classroom of the Month!
Keesyn Glawson and Haley Carter from 104.5 More Country stopped by with a pizza party from Boston Pizza.
"I have a great group of kids this year. We're getting along really well," explained Ball.
She says there's plenty of laughter on any given day.
"Seeing them come out of their shells a little bit and find that confidence has been a real highlight."
The win was a shock (in the best way ever).
"It was a very nice surprise to open up that e-mail and said we have a really exciting announcement and they just cheered and were thrilled."
Being recognized was something that Ball was not expecting.
"Sometimes you don't feel like you're doing enough. You feel like you're never doing enough for the kids. So to have somebody just say, 'hey, you're doing a great job.' Yeah. Very validating and sweet."
