With the South Central Alberta Hockey League (SCAHL) Wheatland Warriors most recent victory, the team is now at the top of the South Standings.

The team had a close game against the Medicine Hat Hounds on Sunday, December 16. With a 2-1 victory the team now has a 17 game win streak.

The team has won 12 games in a row in the SCAHL , and 17 games in a row with the Medicine Hat Tournament.

Head coach Cody Brow talked about what helped the team get their win streak.

Brow said “We are just taking it one game at a time, and the dedication to sticking to our game plan”

“The streak is always in the back of your mind but we want our main focus to be on what’s ahead of us and how we can improve our skill set and get better each skate” he said.

The Wheatland Warriors will hopefully keep their win streak when they face off against the Taber Golden Suns on Saturday, December 22, 2018.
