July is packed with a lot of exciting events, and 104.5 More Country/Strathmore Now will be broadcasting them live on location!
On July 9th you can find us at the Car Show and BBQ celebrating Pure Country Meats' 20th anniversary! Pure Country Meats is hosting a car show with Zegil Automotive & Transmission to celebrate. It only costs $5 to show off your car at this show, and if you come down to visit you'll find there's a lot more to see other than the beautiful cars! There will be vendors, door prizes and raffles, and the proceeds will be donated to the Alberta Children's Hospital. You can also rent a table for $20 for a swap meet.
That's not the only car show you'll see us at; we'll also be live at Fun Runners on July 16! It'll cost you $10 to show off your car here, and there should be no shortage of amazing cars to see at this show. On top of the cars, you can also expect plenty of local vendors like Hunger Paynes, Four Sisters, Pizza 249, PJ's Diner and Origins Beer Gardens to be serving up plenty to eat and drink.
Just like the rest of Strathmore, we'll also be going to the Strathmore Stampede from July 29- August 1! This is simply an event we couldn't miss out on; with how great the Stampede is we knew we had to be there to enjoy the fun. This year's Stampede will feature a ton of entertainment, including but not limited to Cobb's Adventure Park, Kisling Farms, CanAm Wrestling camp and the Heavy Horse Pull! We'll also get to see a lot of live music, like Chris LeBlanc, Joel Ostrom and the James Barker Band.
