Golden Hills School Division (GHSD) and Christ the Redeemer School Division (CTR) kindergarten registration for the 2024–25 school year has opened.

The kindergarten eligibility requirements state that a child can start kindergarten if they are 5 years old by December 31, 2024, for the 2024–2025 school year. Children who are six years old as of September 1 must start Grade 1.

"Our classrooms provide students with the opportunity to be curious while fostering social, emotional, and creative learning. Students in kindergarten experience a balance of academic learning with song, movement, talk, and stimulating play," it says on the GHSD website.

At CTR schools, kindergarten classes are offered as either full days/five days a week, or two full days per week.

"CTR Catholic promotes the spiritual, academic, cultural, physical, and social development of all students in a safe and caring environment. Learning is a journey, and it all starts at Christ the Redeemer!" it states on the CTR website.
