Three Hills RCMP responded to a hit-and-run collision involving a person on 6 Avenue N in Three Hills on Feb 7. 

During the investigation, RCMP received a tip from the public that resulted in officers locating the suspect vehicle.

RCMP attended the location where they identified and arrested the suspect driver.

A 40-year-old woman who lives in Three Hills has been charged with failing to stop after an accident resulting in bodily harm.

She was released from custody and scheduled to appear in Drumheller court on April 19. 

“We would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation. In matters such as this, cooperation from the public is crucial to assisting in an investigation," said Three Hills Detachment Commander Sgt. Jamie Day.
