A man has been charged in a recent drug bust.

On Tuesday (Apr. 30) at around 5 p.m., Mounties conducted a search warrant on a home in Drumheller.

The RCMP say they found cocaine, fentanyl, meth, morphine, multiple cell phones, illegal tobacco and $1875 cash.

With help from the public, 54-year-old Quentin Eatmon was later arrested at the Dinosaur Trail Golf and Country Club.

The Drumheller man faces eight charges including possession of illegal drugs for trafficking and breaching release order conditions.

“This police operation is yet another example of the RCMP working to keep our communities safe and holding offenders accountable. We would like to thank the public whom has been instrumental in helping investigators locate and ultimately apprehend the suspect,” stated Staff Sergeant Robert Harms of the Drumheller RCMP.

Eatmon remains in custody with a court date on Thursday.
