If you're heading out today for a drive, you might notice a few road closures in Strathmore.

Parklane Drive, between Centre Street and Park Road, has a sidewalk and alley access closure.

The entrance to the alley will be closed while contractors replace the sidewalk and alley apron.

Cambridge Glen Drive, north of Cambrille Cres, Parklane Road, and Aspen Circle Centre Street at the WID canal crossing, and Westchester Road, north of Trinity Christian Academy, all have lane closures to watch out for as contractors install rectangular rapid flash beacons (RRFBs). 

Maplewood Drive, Centennial Drive, and Brentwood Drive still have lane and sidewalk closures due to tree removals along Maplewood Drive. 

Here are some closures that will be coming up in the next couple of weeks.

Centennial Drive, between Thomas Drive and Centre Street and Parklane Drive, between Centre Street and Aspen Creek Way because portions of Centennial Drive and Parklane Drive will be getting repaved. 

Lakeside Blvd, between 6 Avenue and Archie Klaiber Trail, will be closed to celebrate Canada Day with the pancake breakfast at the Strathmore Fire Hall.

The work will continue until May 31.
