On Sunday May 24, there were only 42 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Alberta, with those additional cases the current total of active cases for the province is 801, with no new deaths reported and over 5,900 Albertans reported as recovered from the virus.

Wheatland County to date has 10 cases with 8 recovered and 2 currently active.

Monday May 25, will see the stage one continue in Brooks and Calgary while the rest of the province was permitted to open businesses such as hairstylists, restaurants, and bars at half capacity Brooks and Calgary were put on hold due to high active cases in their areas.

In Wheatland County last week playgrounds were permitted to open with restrictions, however, Strathmore has not opened the playgrounds, skatepark of tennis courts in town, and have stated they will reevaluate this on June 5, read more here Not So Fast For Strathmore Playgrounds.
