For many years REVS or (Registration, Education, Volunteer, Services) has been a one-stop-shop for members of the public to attend to register for community, sports, and social events in the Strathmore region.

REVS is usually held twice a year, once in the Fall and again in the Spring. Spring REVS is usually held at the start of February. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2020 and 2021 REVS was held in a digital format.

Geoff Person, Manager of Communications for the Town of Strathmore explains that REVS will once more be held in a digital format.

“The Town has been working to include more community groups on the REVS page since we started it in fall 2020. This is one instance where a solution we came up with during COVID restrictions has continued to provide benefits. The digital REVS page is available to the community 24/7 and all organizations have the opportunity to add or edit their details.”

To register for Digital REVS visit the Town of Strathmore’s page at strathmore.ca/revs.

Almost 1,000 people used the REVS site in 2021, Person revealed. “We expect that number to continue growing in 2022.”
