There is a snowfall warning in effect for Strathmore and surrounding areas.

Heavy snowfall is expected in parts of southern Alberta this weekend.

Snow, heavy at times, is expected in parts of southern Alberta beginning Saturday afternoon and through Sunday.

By the time the snow ends, 10 to 20 cm will have fallen, with the heaviest accumulations south of the line from Canmore to Okotoks to Bassano.

Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult in some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
