The former Town of Strathmore municipal building located on Westchester Road, has been sold. According to the town the building and adjacent lot were sold to Siksika Affordable Housing Corporation.
The sale includes two lots, Lot 3 and Lot 4, that had been subdivided from the town’s holdings. Lot 1 and lot 2, which include the Bulk Water Station and the yard directly west of it, are still owned by the Town.
The appraised value of Lots 3 and 4 located at 680 Westchester Road is $1.56 million. An offer to purchase made in the summer of 2021 was for $1.4 million.
The sale of Lots 3 and 4 of the subdivided property was completed on December 1, 2021.
