This year the Strathmore Stampede is getting ready to bring a great show to Strathmore.

With some of the top professional chuckwagon drivers and rodeo athletes participating in Strathmore this years rodeo will be among the best in Western Canada.The Strathmore Stampede is also adding the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Musical Ride. 

Ryan Schmidt, the General Manager of the Strathmore Agricultural Society, is looking forward to bringing a great experience to everyone that attends.

"Personally I might be biased, but I think this is going to be the best Stampede ever,  we have got the RCMP musical ride coming and the midway is going to be back, obviously the pro rodeo and the chucks and we've got a great lineup of entertainment," Schmidt said. 

In addition to a top notch rodeo, and the midway returning to the grounds this year, the lineup of entertainment also features, Magician Christopher Cool and one of the most Canadian acts out there, the Hockey Circus Show will be coming town. The lineup also includes a ventriloquist, a hypnotist, an improv show and the annual lip sync contest.

Strathmore's own Kevin Knopf will perform with the Kevin K Band on Saturday, August 3, with TC & Company performing at the cabaret on Saturday night it will be a packed day for everyone in attendance. 

This year the Strathmore Stampede will also welcome Renegade Station on Sunday, August 4 to headline this year's festivities.
