As the Easter season approaches, Strathmore Value Drug Mart (SVDM) is infusing its aisles with an extra dose of fun and creativity.

The store has kicked off a delightful colouring contest aimed at spreading joy and engaging the community’s youngest members.

"We wanted to bring a little positive energy to the store and create something fun for the kids to enjoy," shared Kori Poelman, Front Store Manager of SVDM.

"It's always heartwarming to see the children proudly bring in their completed colouring sheets."

The contest, catering to different age groups (three to five, six to eight, and nine to eleven), invites children to pick up their coloring sheets from the store's front counter or even at the local post office.

Once their artistic masterpieces are complete, participants can drop off their entries at designated locations.

The incentive for young artists doesn't end with the sheer joy of colouring.

Winners of the contest will be rewarded with delightful Easter baskets filled with an assortment of treats, from candies to little toys.

With the deadline set for March 26th and winners to be announced on the 27th, anticipation is building up as children eagerly work on their entries.

It's a fantastic opportunity for families to come together, unleash their creativity, and celebrate the Easter spirit.

As Easter Sunday looms closer on March 31st, SVDM's initiative serves as a reminder that community involvement and fun-filled activities can make the holiday season even more memorable for all ages.

So, grab those colouring pencils and let the Easter fun begin!
