Adrianna Kiemeny the artist behind KAGA Design is on a roll, the 16 year old began her shoe design business about two years ago and this week she will be working on designing shoes for Chestermere-Strathmore MLA Leela Sharon Aheer.

Aheer met the teen and handed over the blank shoes on Saturday. She has plans to create a Star Wars themed project with the shoes for Aheer’s son.

The local MLA said she saw Kiemeny’s work on Instagram and read an article about the teen when she started KAGA Design at age 14.

“Your page is fantastic. She's doing designs all across like several countries now,” said Aheer.

Kiemeny explained that when she first heard from the MLA she was so excited, she didn’t think it was real.

Kiemeny explained that the meeting was very short notice, but still very exciting.

“Honestly it felt like a dream come true because I never thought I would get a chance to meet her in person. It felt kind of surreal almost,” she said.

Right now business is going fairly well, she says.

“Right now I have five orders on the go. Most of the people who are ordering are from our region, Alberta, Canada, but I have sent a couple pairs down to the States,” she said.

One is a project for YouTuber Dude Perfect in Texas and another for a small business owner called

Maddie Green Designs in Colorado.
