The Town of Strathmore along with the Strathmore Minor Hockey Association will be hosting their annual 3-on-3 street hockey tournament on June 17 returning again for the second year to the Family Centre Arena.
Manager of the Family Centre Arena Craig Dilts says this year they are doing things a bit differently.
“We are not including lunch in the registration fee, we will have some food trucks on site that participants and spectators can utilize.”
When asked if the event will be needing volunteers Dilts noted, "The Town in partnership with Strathmore Minor Hockey puts on the event. We encourage families to come watch their kids and enjoy the day with everyone."
The cost for the event will be $12 per participant with registration through Perfectmind and each participant must register as part of a team. Registration opened on April 15 and the cut-off for registration will be June 2.
